La Maison des Harmonies - Pool near Marciac

La Maison des Harmonies has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its historic character while introducing distinctive contemporary touches. Original stonework, generous proportions, a fireplace, sculptural staircase and mezzanine create an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, perfect for spending time with family or friends.
On the ground floor, the entrance hall opens onto spacious living areas, including a lounge with fireplace, a dining area and a large, fully equipped kitchen with a central island. Large openings connect the interiors naturally to the covered terrace and gardens. A second lounge provides a more intimate space to unwind.
Upstairs, the house offers four double bedrooms:
- one bedroom with a king-size bed and private shower room;
- two bedrooms with double beds and private shower rooms;
- one bedroom with a double bed;
- one family bathroom with bathtub.
A mezzanine with a workspace overlooks the kitchen and completes the upper floor.
Some bedrooms are set beneath the eaves and feature areas with lower ceilings as well as smaller windows or dormers, all part of the authentic character of this historic home.

Outdoor spaces
Surrounded by approximately one hectare of landscaped gardens and countryside, the estate offers a collection of inviting spaces designed for relaxation and time spent together.
The 8.5 × 4.5 m swimming pool overlooks the rolling Gascon landscape. A raised covered terrace provides a beautiful setting for meals by the pool, while another sheltered area is perfect for enjoying a drink overlooking the countryside.
A further covered terrace adjoining the house is ideal for leisurely breakfasts and long summer dinners.
Elsewhere on the estate, a large natural pond surrounded by a walking path creates a peaceful, more secluded setting. A dedicated terrace also offers a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the view across the water.
Two electric bikes for adults are available for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Guest access
Guests have access to the house, swimming pool, terraces and the outdoor areas dedicated to the property.
A smaller, independent house is also located within the estate. The owners may occasionally stay there. Their presence remains discreet, allowing guests to fully enjoy the peace and privacy of their stay.

Getting around & nearby
The property enjoys a peaceful countryside setting while being only 5 km from Marciac. The historic town can be reached within a few minutes by car or by using the two electric bikes available at the house.
Marciac is known for its beautiful historic square, cafés, restaurants and lively Wednesday morning market. Every summer, the town comes alive for the internationally renowned Jazz in Marciac festival, welcoming artists and visitors from around the world.
Lac de Marciac is approximately 7 km away, while Golf du Château de Pallanne is around 13 km from the property.
The vineyards of Saint Mont and Madiran can be reached within 30 to 40 minutes and offer a wonderful introduction to the wines and gastronomic heritage of south-western France.
Hiking, cycling, horse riding, traditional markets and characterful villages offer countless ways to discover authentic Gascony. For a day trip, Auch, Tarbes, Lourdes and the foothills of the Pyrenees are also within reach.

Other things to note
The swimming pool is generally open from May until the end of September, depending on weather conditions and maintenance requirements.
To preserve the peaceful and intimate atmosphere of the estate, parties, weddings, receptions and stag or hen parties are not permitted.
Pets are not allowed and the property is entirely non-smoking except outside.
